Thai Trade Center USA Offers Help with Registration, Hotels, Logistics for June 30-July 4th Thaifex

Time is running out for American companies interested in attending Thaifex – World of Food Asia 2010 June 30 through July 4, but Thai Trade Center USA can help.

Thaifex, an annual international tasting and buying event, introduces new food flavors and trends to the food & beverage, catering, food technology, hospitality service, and retail & franchise sectors and will be held at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

This year’s comprehensive showcase of the latest food innovations, food products, and food services is expected to attract 1,000 companies from Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, and the United States and 79,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.

The largest Southeastern Asian food and beverage event, with more than 22,000 trade and public participants and 14 international pavilions, Thaifex is organized by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce Department of Export Promotion, Royal Thai Government, Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse.

Thaifex serves as a one-stop shop for all segments of the industry, encompassing all areas of production, from processing technology and ingredients to the end products.

Highlights of this year’s program will be the “Best Value Awards for Creative Food Products in Asia” and a new hall devoted to the “World of Halal.”  Thaifex is known as a tasting and buying event whose new food flavors and “healthy indulgence” trends may appear on airline menus and in duty-free shops and markets around the world.

“This is the place to experience and explore the newest products and services in food and beverage and meet with food producers and manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors serving the hotel, restaurant and bar, supermarket and grocery store, department store, food catering, fast food, food service, bakery, airline, resort, and packaging industries,” said Thai Trade Center Los Angeles Executive Director Chantira J. Vivatrat.

American businesspeople interested in attending Thaifex may download a registration form from the Thai Trade Center (TTC) and email it to ttcla@earthlink.net.

TTC can provide information on conference hotels and shuttle bus service between hotels and the expo site. For additional information, contact TTC at ttcla@live.com or ttcla@earthlink.net.
