About DITP
Established under the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, the Department of International Trade Promotions (DITP) aims to build the competitiveness of Thai manufacturers to fulfill their potentials in the newly changing world economy with fast, reliable and efficient services. DITP supervises overseas Thai Trade Centers (TTC) located in major cities around the world. In the United States, there are Thai Trade Centers in four major cities: Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Chicago. Thai Trade Centers are representative offices for DITP with a mission to foster and promote trade between North America and Thailand by expanding markets and promoting value creation of Thai products and services. In order to further endorse its mission, DITP has implemented the “Thai Kitchen to the World” policy with proactive export plans to promote the market expansion of Thai food products. “Thai Food Festival 2013” is a project designed under this policy to promote the awareness of Thai cuisine, Thai restaurants and Thai food/beverage products throughout America.
