DITP organizes “Logistics Clinic” in TILOG 2012 Gathering 60 leading business gurus for logistics advice
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, organizes a “Logistics Clinic,” offering a free advice during the TILOG 2012. 60 business experts from all fields, both government and private sectors, get together to assist in giving professional advice to entrepreneurs, manufacturers and exporters. The aims are to solve problem and develop logistics systems in order to reduce costs and increase profits while matching the leading logistics service providers and users.
Mrs. Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, Director General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, revealed that this year’s “Logistics Clinic,” held as part of TILOG 2012, is another significant activity that would help pushing forward the trend of supporting and developing Thai entrepreneurs to be competent in efficiently administrate the trade logistics. DITP has sent out the invitations to 60 experts from various fields e.g. topnotch advising companies in manufacturing logistics and international logistics development, counselors in information technology, designing and constructing product warehouses, logistics equipments and technologies, financial institutions, insurance companies, including relating government and private sectors. These logistics gurus are prepared to provide manufacturers, exporters and importers with in-depth advices, knowledge, understanding and guidelines on handling different logistics obstacles thoroughly. In consequence, business owners are expected to be able to reduce their costs and raise their gains in systematic administration in order to strengthen their international trade competition competence for both in ASEAN and the world markets in the years to come.

The 9th Thailand International Logistics Fair 2012 (TILOG 2012) is held during 19 – 22 September 2012 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre – BITEC Bangna with the Logistics Clinic activity held on 21 September 2012.
